Eedama: make it last
Eedama is a social enterprise that was formed as an independent training and consultancy agency to support companies, schools, universities and communities in their sustainability initiatives.
Eedama was born from an environmental and green sensibility shared by scientists, engineers, teachers and parents with a common perception: talking about the environment is no longer enough, the time has come for true understanding and action.
We provide competencies allowing each of us to be empowered and proactive in different fields linked to our environmental impact: climate change, energy and electricity, environment, urban planning and transport, urban farming and food, water, electricity, pollution, novel technologies and technological innovation.
Eedama operations are based in both the UAE and Lebanon and succeeded in hosting and collaborating with partners globally.
The founding partners are experts in the field of energy and the environment, with PhDs and over 15 years each of research and work in that domain. Eedama has trained thousands of students in the UAE and Lebanon since inception, and partnered with hundreds of schools, as well as major companies in the region.

is the owner and general manager of eedama, company based in Masdar city that does education and training to sustainable development. He is originally a physicist who studied in France and Switzerland, he got his PhD in 2007 from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland).

Huda Masalmeh holds the LEED Green Associate professional credential as well as a M.Sc in Sustainable Architecture from Abu Dhabi University. She uses her expertise to develop some of Eedama's novel and unique educational and edutainment content.

Since her passion for the environment grew overtime, she quit her job in 2007 and started volunteering in environmental NGOs between Lebanon and the Netherlands. Christelle decided to continue her studies in Environment and Resource Management in the Netherlands so she can combine two of her major skills, management and environmental studies to tackle the biggest company polluters. She coordinates some of Eedama-Jibal’s school activities in Greater Beirut
